Wowowowowowowow, that surrogacy article! My mind was blown when I read this surrogacy article a while back ( https://www.wired.com/story/the-baby-died-whose-fault-is-it-surrogate-pregnancy/ ) but this is next level.

Perfect material for a surrogacy horror story, goddamn…a failure of institutions on so many levels.

That story almost made me throw up.

I also just clicked into the article. The picture with the hand holding the 100 dollar bill. The mansion with those eerie lights. The lady in the leather jacket. All of a sudden my mind is wandering to places/countries that have less oversight....

+1 Vote for adding comment sections under each listing on the FeedMe job board... Phaidon offering sub-$70k for an NYC-based Social Media Manager position requiring 4 to 6 years is nasty work, and we should be able to tell them :)

I won't be using the dating board but want to congratulate you, Emily, on your service to society by making it

That article is horrifying, worse than any horror movie. Especially the ending, where after giving us this story of hell and abuse, the author makes sure to remind us, "Surrogacy is a vital lifeline for anyone who, by nature or by circumstance, can’t carry a child." Then ends the story by saying the two abusive parents are free to continue using surrogacy...I feel there's such blindness even in the reporter, lack of empathy is astounding.

What’s a fellow reader got to do to get a copy of that True Beauty of Being Bitten by a Tick screener? 🫦🤞🏼 My alchemy of similar interests is dying to be fed!!
