Where did Zohran eat during the Knicks game?
I’m told he ordered water, olives, ricotta, and chocolate mousse (dream meal).
Good afternoon, everyone.
I walked from Water Street to Houston yesterday afternoon. The streets were covered with the residue of Saturday night: broken glass, plastic water caps, bootleg Knicks merch, orange Birkin bags on Canal Street — and the employees at Los Angeles Apparel were busy re-merchandising the front of the store with Knicks-colored baby tees and shorts. Little kids wore oversize Brunson jerseys, groups of teenagers ate melting cups of frozen yogurt, and restaurant workers on Canal Street slowly started to rearrange outdoor dining setups. Fireworks haven’t stopped, at least as of last night in Windsor Terrace after the Puerto Rican Day parade. There are a million reasons to celebrate being a New Yorker.
My heart is so happy to wake up here every morning, especially today. I’m halfway through this essay by Heidi N. Moore about how there might be a cultural vibe shift underway — good guys are winning, and sleazy, selfish, cruel assholes are losing.
Today’s newsletter includes: New Feed Me merch, Madeline Cash is coming back to New York (and has her next book concept), and Apollo chose Austin for their next office because…there are more private schools than in Florida.

While Vanity Fair staff writer Clara Molot was working on this story about Alex Cooper and her Unwell network, she received the following threat: “If the Story so much as suggests any sexual impropriety on Mr. Kaplan’s part, I will make it my life’s mission to ensure Vanity Fair’s days are numbered.”
Zohran spent Saturday night at Le Dive. I’m told he ordered water, olives, ricotta, and chocolate mousse (dream meal 🫒), and spent the night there during the whole second half of the game, through the win. Sarah Morrissey wrote about what it felt like the morning after throwing the best party in New York City the night the Knicks won the title.
