The New York Times isn't putting that Taylor Swift video on YouTube.

Yet.

Good afternoon, everyone.

I’m still reveling in the candor and invaluable advice you all shared in the Brides Survey this spring. It got me thinking about ways to activate the collective wisdom of this readership, and I have some plans for some bigger projects down the road. But next up, I want to do something a little more specific, and hopefully super rewarding. It’s about books. Novels, in particular.

I have three questions for you, here.

Today’s newsletter includes: Why the Taylor Swift interview that The New York Times published today won’t be going on YouTube until next week, a beloved Brooklyn bakery is closing, and the Harvard student making four figures a month from mukbang videos.

Feed Me is a daily newsletter that is $80/year or about $7/month. The good stuff usually happens below the paywall or in the comment section.

  • Midtown’s Friars Club almost became a “Crypto Castle.” The six-story club, which was known for hosting comedians like Joan Rivers and Jimmy Fallon as members, just sold to Gary Barnett’s Extell Development. The Real Deal reported that a group of crypto investors attempted to buy it, which obviously reminded me of Ezra Marcus’s haunted house story for New York Magazine. As far as what Barnett has planned, rumors range from a private residence to another members club.

  • Chanel invited photographer Sam Youkilis to document the Cruise show in Biarritz. You are a smart man, Matthieu Blazy.

  • Google co-founder Sergey Brin is dating Gerelyn Gilbert-Soto, who you might know from Vanderpump Rules. I think a lot about this turn in every billionaire’s life. Doing psychedelics, taking TRT, and dating women they meet at Burning Man.
