Nobody wanted to go see Zone Of Interest last night so I went alone. I think all movie theaters should have a full coffee and tea menu like Angelika does. It was quite a stunning and haunting movie, I came home and didn’t want to talk to anyone until this morning. If you’re obsessed with scores and weird shots (interior scenes were shot with fixed cameras in hidden locations, which gives it a chilly feeling), you should go see it. When I came home I made these Christmas cards.

Evening plans haunt me. This isn’t a small concern of mine, it’s grown more and more over the last year or so. I’ve always had a habit of choosing other people or work or a shiny opportunity before myself, and in turn I get really tired. But, in recent years I’ve also learned the benefit of showing up to things, like making people happy or meeting new business contacts, or maybe even getting a free lipstick (I love free lipstick).

So this time of year I always get extra confused while tapping through my Instagram Stories, watching people I know attend not one or two but three parties in a night and their hair and skin look healthy and they look happy and they do it again the next night. Holiday parties are great, but I had a feeling there was something else at play here.

I asked my followers yesterday what they do to stay awake and seemingly make it to all of the events, because I fell asleep in Ubers twice last week. Now that I think about it, maybe there’s something wrong with my blood sugar or something. The common responses contained a lot of psychadelics, a lot of hydration, and a surprising amount of IV drips:
