Good morning from Los Angeles. This weekend, I premiered my film THE END in New York as part of documentary festival DOC NYC. It’s about the oldest and largest privately-owned island in America. You can watch it online at New York Magazine if you’d like.

Some news.

  • Eames and Reebok launched a sneaker collection. The collection of trainers was directly informed by the distinctive fibreglass chairs the design studio created. The leather texture of them is a bit odd, and kind of looks like the chairs. "It is important to note though that, whilst endearingly irregular, these textural effects were not superficial aesthetic choices," said Eames Demetrios, director of Eames Office told Dezeen. "Charles and Ray believed that good design was a process of endless problem solving, not a grand decorative flourish."
