TikTok is SHOCKED that an influencer could afford a house. đ¸
Good morning everyone.
I would like to start this off today with a pet peeve of mine. And I will not be calling out brands because I donât have it in me today. But marketing and gifting teams, I know youâre reading this, PLEASE stop sending people packaged with confetti, useless boxes, superfluous packaging, bad merch (if you donât know if itâs good or bad itâs probably bad), and unnecessary print collateral. Itâs so much waste and it creates a terrible brand experience.

And while youâre here, you can read a really old newsletter of mine from when I was young and dumb (27) and waxed poetic about my Phoenix obsession.

Louisiana already bans both medication and surgical abortions except to save a patientâs life or because a pregnancy is âmedically futile.â Lawmakers recently turned down proposed exceptions for teenagers under 17 who become pregnant through rape or incest.
Itâs so smart that Bella Hadid is making Cannes paparazzi moments about her fragrance brand, Orebella. Her Soho pop-up didnât seem to push as many sales as planned, and last week Rachel at Puck reported, âthe brand did under $350k in sales on its e-commerce site within the first several hours of launching, which would be an impressive number for a non-famous person who started a brand. But for a celebrity, and one with Hadidâs nearly 61mm Instagram followers, itâs an underwhelming figure.â
Jewish students on college campuses are saying their Zionist views are affecting their social lives. Some Jewish students on campus believe these dynamics amount to a kind of litmus test: If you support Palestine, youâre in. If you support the existence of or arenât ready to denounce Israel, youâre out.Â
