When did Sel Rrose open? Spent many summers in Montauk up until a few years ago and never came across it. Location (like a few doors from the IGA) vs vibe seem dissonant to me. And what's with the extra "r"? Maybe a reference over my simpleton head but to me the name's pretentious as fuck and feels more like Bridge than Montauk.
Hahahaha the sel Rrose spot was my family’s restaurant when I was growing up and I’ll never be able to go to in that building due to the ~trauma. Maybe whoever bought the sands across the street has a spare $6m and can turn it into a full campus

Can't say I'm upset about Blank Street's demise. Utterly charmless IMO
They also take business and retail space from good local coffee shops which i can’t stand for. Also their coffee is mid at best.
Huh. Passed the Sel Rrose spot in Montauk this weekend, and...yeah it needs a lower offer.
Related: the Manhattan location of Sel Rrose is a lovely spot. Corner tables outside during the warmer months are a great spot to hang.
