GM

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I got a perfect burger at Long Island Bar.

And went to a Greek festival in Brooklyn Heights.

And I’m not telling you what else I did.

Some news:

  • A16z is opening their first European office in London 🇬🇧 . The announcement says that the A16z team has been working with international policymakers and regulators, and that it has become clear that, “UK government sees the promise of web3, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak suggesting the UK can become a hub of web3 innovation. UK authorities are also willing to work with the industry to create policies that incentivize startups to pursue decentralization.” U.S. crypto regulation is chaos, so it will be interesting to see what they can get done there that can’t be done in SF.

  • Kim Kardashian is also heading to London 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 . With the first Skims pop-up in the UK! From Monday, Skims will be the latest to take over Selfridges’ “Corner Shop” location in central London. The California-based brand is betting on making a similar splash. With the help of long-term collaborator and interior designer Willo Perron (who has also worked with Jacquemus, Ghia, and Fenty) , the brand will transform the space to create an LA-poolside vibe.
