i stg every whiz kid / insanely smart adult i know is addicted to diet dr pepper. i dunno what the correlation / causation is but i need someone on the case asap
Something I learned this summer is that king kullen is considered the first true supermarket (I had to do some googling to get a better idea of what that meant)
Bearish on Eventual. There was a glut of sponsored sports betting content out out over the past 5 years and very few have remained or garnered an audience. Difficult to churn out ‘analysis’ when a successful trade relies on timing/luck.
California winemakers have spent decades churning out shitty commercial wine made with destructive farming practices. The industry has shifted and I feel for smaller producers but so many people in wine, from owners to winemakers to distributors, are borderline hostile towards young consumers.
You ask if the Midcoast Villager (obsessed with their model, highly rec the subscription) the only local newspaper that also owns a cafe that offers catering? I'm guessing yes. Also probably the only local newspaper offering what promises to be an amazing writing retreat with Rebecca Traister: https://www.villagercafe.com/good-and-mad

Maybe Diet Coke feels too 90s/2000s now. I always felt that Diet Coke was the perfect drink,
Sadly have now mostly cut it out for health reasons
what are the reasons? am i gonna die if i'm addicted
basically avoiding artificial sweeteners, I don't think anyone is dying from them though

My opinion? The creative direction is offputting/tired

Seriously, try to plan a day tasting anywhere in Napa that doesn’t revolve drinking 14% abv Cabernet
