Kallmeyer and Nina Runsdorf hosted an event this afternoon. And after a week of endless stories about how to how to be a better party host (give your events better branding, assign rooms in advance), not one has mentioned how unexpectedly glamorous a glass platter of ice cream sandwiches is.

Ice cream sandwiches at Kallmeyer and Nina Runsdorf’s party this afternoon in East Hampton.

It was fun to watch Upper East Side women who were there to try on Nina Runsdorf diamonds learn about Kallmeyer in real-time — from Daniella Kallmeyer’s cool posse — and leave with new t-shirts, tennis bracelets, and drawstring pants. Lucky for them, there’s a new Kallmeyer store on the Upper East Side. I went last week and was overwhelmingly pleased by the fish-shaped door handle.

My most surprising takeaways from Justin Bieber’s album release so far: Mk.gee produced some of the album, Eric Adams has already made this moment about him, and the Rhode lip gloss case made it into one of the songs. “That's my baby, she's iconic, iPhone case, lip gloss on it.”

  • Sascha Seinfeld, daughter of billionaire comedian Jerry, started working at The Free Press. Her first story is about what Love Island gets right about dating. After graduating she made a short film called The Final Cut, and I’ve been told that she also used to work at Fini Pizza in Amagansett.
