• Princess of Pastry, Laila Gohar, is opening her store in New York this week. Gohar World was founded by sisters Nadia and Laila Gohar, and they sell whimsical things like cake-shaped candles and fish-shaped lemon squeezers. Last year their Los Angeles pop-up was in that Dries van Noten space.

• So a few days ago we saw this job listing for Taco Bell. And then today on PepsiCo’s earnings call, the company said they plan to relaunch Mountain Dew Baja Blast, a fan favorite flavor that is only available at Taco Bell right now. My guess is that they’re going to create a complete line of energy drinks and RTD cocktails. I guess you can have a deep partnership on a beverage without owning it. PepsiCo beat Wall Street’s estimates for third-quarter earnings and revenue, so it could be a fun job.

• Leandra Medine published her Fall 2023 commercial trend report. It includes leather coats (guilty, just bought a sick blue leather jacket on depop), cowboy boots (readers already know what I’m going to say), ambitious pants, and silver finish (also wrote this last week 💋 ).
