Not sold on this Tony trailer! I love Dominic, but he seems to be playing the same character he played in the leftovers..... it's hard for anyone to embody a person that we spent years watching on tv, but get the voice right at least! We'll see! I want to like it! Praying this is not another back to black situation
Loved the Television song on the trailer and yeah agree- I kind of feel like this would be a much better movie if it wasn’t Bourdain honestly but I’ll reserve judgement
Very invested in how The Vineyard Gazette hiring journey plays out. People online were saying it sounds like the plot of a mediocre detective movie (arguably one of my favorite genres), so I'll be following along
This children's resale concept looks great! I feel like I've been talking about the potential in that space for nearly a decade now. It's not very scalable, but I think it should be really successful locally. Good for them!
I literally just started listening to Noah Kahan this past Sunday and my interest is piqued as someone who hails from a rural New England town and has a variety of feelings about it. Maybe I had subconsciously avoided him until this point because of that?
Re: Federal debt headed to all time highs: no one talks about it but, yes, it means that we will have to cut the social safety net or raise taxes or both. Both are unpopular and unpleasant solutions/prospects, so that's why to does not get the attention it deserves.
Worse would be if we had a debt crisis and no one knows at what level of debt and what circumstances would cause it.
My image is that we are walking in an open field and somewhere ahead of us is a belt of landmines and we don't know where that belt is until we set it off and it blows up in our collective faces.
The pierogi story lives in my head rent free. I think of it every few months, and also uploaded that market to my market directory website.
It's such a classic small town story, and an example of why I LOVE local newspapers

It’s smart that they already jump started the buying, I am really excited. They super thoughtful. Also kudos to them for teaching mending classes
