Last night, I had dinner at the new Cote 550. Half of New York was at the upstairs bar, Bar Chimera. I’d like to give a shoutout to whoever decided to put ZBiotics on their cocktail menu. I did not have one because, of course, I keep Last Call on me for nights that involve martinis. I would like to give the opposite of a shoutout to all of the men putting backpacks on the coat hooks under the bar. Please invest in a briefcase. Backpacks look terrible with suits.
