Vermouth and soda is having a moment. According to IRI, a market research firm in Chicago, sales of vermouth rose by 24.8% in 2020 compared with the previous year, though they have dipped since—by 9% in 2021 and 3.4% in 2022. I like this. Anything to get espresso martinis off the roster (still never had one).
