And my thoughts on Chanel Williamsburg.

I’m doing my least favorite thing - writing this from a car. On Google docs. Because substack won’t make an app I can use.

Parking garage selfie.

But anyway, the show must go on:

  • New York Magazine launched a new newsletter called “Secret Strategist”. It looks like a super-curated list of products that editors are loving FROM The Strategist, “making a place for the very best stuff our staff has turned up every week.” Part of me has newsletter fatigue, part of me is excited to see how more curated their editor picks can be. All of me thinks New York Magazine is making a ton of cash on affiliate.

  • Dieux skincare launched on TYB this morning. Over 1000 people joined the community in 4 minutes, making it the fastest growing brand on the platform. I think this seriously speaks to the power of Dieux, and I’m excited to see how they support these customers in a new space. Members will get lab samples, discounts, and invites to events. Disclaimer: I have an ongoing consulting contract with TYB.
