Annie is so talented. I think about her lapsang souchong ice cream all the time. It haunts me. And the suit push makes sense given themes like Jack bringing up J.Press, Suitsupply figuring out their next moves, and other startups like Suit Shop. Brooks Brothers also did some great pushes lately to younger audiences...
I have to give a banana bread call out to the Trader Joe's Banana Bread box mix... is that what banana bread actually is? Probably not. Is it one of the best things I've ever eaten? Yes. Does it taste even better when you swap oil for brown butter? Yes
Stay away from sad music, act like it’s your TV show every day (especially fun if you live alone), watch trashy TV, let yourself order takeout, walk a lot.
Take up a project. Years ago, I had my heartbroken pretty bad (so much so that to this day, Cellophone by twigs still tops my Spotify listens… great track, but embarrassing tbh). But I threw myself into creative projects and it was really exhilarating and validating. Any project or work that reminds you of your own self worth.

I like the suit push during the holidays vs. graduation/wedding season. Makes me hopeful for men’s closets
Same! And I'm good with pushes in both areas, to be honest. Get a good starter suit that's translational (navy, grey chalk stripe, etc.)
The JFK Jr. trend also helps...especially since Brynn from Dimepiece dropped a blacked out version of her watch just now!
I also think Mamdani’s uniform has influence in younger men being more open to suits - especially how he modernizes them with boots.
