Wow guys, thanks for engaging with all of my musings on Corporate Fetish — Vogue interviewed me about it this week.

In other Emily news, I went on the Day One Agency podcast to talk about Zyn and The TASTE Podcast released the conversation Matt and I had at Adweek Commerce Week.

In other other Emily news, I used a new sunscreen that a brand sent me and it didn’t work. I will not disclose the name at this time.

NEWS:

  • If you guys weren’t in the Feed Me chat yesterday, you missed out on some good takes about the Huberman story. A former AG1 employee joined (I think that company is the biggest scam) and we discussed polyamory with some polyamorous Feed Me readers.

  • Remember that $50mm condo that was for sale in the building that houses New York’s Aman hotel? Someone finally bought it.

  • I have never once in my life ordered delivery to a hotel room. But I guess a lot of people have different philosophies in hotels than I do. Hotels are teaming with mobile dining apps or developing their own app to help guests bring in outside food or order takeout from on-site restaurants. These hotels are also adding food-delivery stations in the lobby and easy ways to get your food while sitting at the pool.

  • Olamide Ayomikun Olowe, the founder of Topicals, launched a new creative services company. Topicals (which raised a $10mm Series A led by CAVU in 2022) has been investing in their community since day one of the company.

    Rachel Karten
did a great deep-dive on their community initiatives earlier this year. The new company is called $CODB, or Cost of Doing Business. I clicked around a bit in here this morning, and it’s a good idea for people who have no idea where or how to start… it’s kind of a leading people to the water situation. You can find potential investors on OpenVC, manufacturing facilities for digital and physical products, and also get a list of popular designers in the consumer world.
