I haven't been to Rose one in years. Do all the people who live in trailers still park around there? I used to think they had a pretty good set up there... of course, I was 22 and hated paying rent.
I went to the Moon Juice location in Silverlake last year and while I was buying a box of "Activated" Chaga Donuts, the man behind the counter preached to me about the beauty of the "Malibu eggs", how they would change my life, that had to buy them, etc, and when I looked down at the iPad to tip him, the screen informed me I had received 43 Cooper Moons for my purchase.
I have many memories of going to the one on Rose in Venice before work and sometimes post-Gold's work out/post cold dip in the Pacific (conveniently within steps of each other). This was 13 years ago. I made about $8.50 an hour at the time. My Moon Juice purchases far exceeded that. Foolish and beautiful times!!
Begging pleading for SF correspondent to (1) know better pickup spots than Marina Green and it’s Safeway, I swear they exist and (2) report on current best bao in the city because Eater has been disappointing us out here
agree. also "SF is dead" is a story anyone can write. would love them to push deeper on the culture that still exists and perhaps what does keep people here. excited for the event next month.
Love this new LA thing. Especially as I can’t be bothered to go there.
Same Plum. We have you covered.
Ugh, Plum.
Can confirm that Pilates to Jumbos with a stop at Sapp for lunch is the perfect LA day
What a town
I ❤️ Hamlet
came to say this!
A Corona tastes the best at Jumbo's, it just does!
People are upset that there are long lines at Max and Helen's in Larchmont. It's a new restaurant by an acclaimed team, it's supposed to be busy!
LA Rams likely favorites to win the Super Bowl this year, which will be in Santa Clara. They are undefeated in Super Bowls located in California.
Plus the Dodgers just landed one of the best relievers in MLB as they attempt a three-peat. It’s good to be blue.
🎺🎺🎺
West Coast is the best coast 🌅
Here to serve ya
Sent you an email like a fan girl 🤗😂
I want to hear Amanda’s real answer(s)
Looking into this for all of you
“Women in a NY winter need hot beverages, warm soups and more minerals.
I get so worried about iced coffees in the snow.
Respectfully, the cold matchas and bubbly canned bevs are bloating, exhausting and dehydrating you. “
love moon juice but it’s always empty on rose, as is cafe gratitude, two 2016 peak venice places

I have stories about this
it got better for awhile, and then a bit worse again, but still better than it was in 2020

Every sip I drank from Moon Juice felt like a potion. Never got old.
When I lived in the Bay, people used to love to claim that *that* Marina Safeway was where the phrase "meat/meet market" was birthed. 🙄
That’s so fucking hilarious
Dateway!
Cannot believe I just saw a Hamlet shoutout in Feed Me. We love Hamlet.
