Last week’s essay was not my first rodeo – I’ve watched the internet put their arms up in anger and disbelief over stories I’ve written several times. I write about tech companies, and I write about how people spend money, and I write about online culture. If you read Feed Me, this one shouldn’t have been that much of a shocker.

Some people are new to Feed Me but this has been on the About page for almost two years.

Thank you to everyone who texted and emailed me on the side this weekend. I’m a little surprised at how many Substack employees got in on the conversation (there’s a story there). This is still the most fun job I’ve ever had.
